Andrew is from Brockport NY and decided to pursue a career in Physical Therapy after suffering a separated shoulder playing lacrosse. Following Physical Therapy, he was able to return to playing that season. As a Physical Therapist, Andrew is eager to help people regain their function, and achieve all of their health and wellness goals. Andrew joined Advanced Care following a successful clinical rotation while completing the DPT Program at the University of Buffalo. During this assignment, Andrew appreciated how helpful everyone was at Advanced Care Physical Therapy, and became proficient with his manual skills, as well as with prescribing different therapeutic exercises for his patients. According to Andrew, the best part about doing a clinical rotation at Advanced Care was he was given the opportunity to manage, and progress patients independently while still having the guidance of a knowledgeable staff if I had any questions.
“Patient care is important to me because as a physical therapist I have the responsibility and opportunity to provide the most effective care at the highest quality for the betterment of my patients.”
His short term career goals include obtaining hands on experience, and taking advantage of the continuing education opportunities to further his knowledge base, and improve the quality of care that he can deliver to his patients. Andrew is pursing a certification in EMG testing and becoming proficient in administering Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) through Hands-on EMG. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out in the Elmwood area with friends as well as his dog. He also enjoys watching the Bills and Sabres.
