Chronic Pain

Ending Unending Discomfort

Chronic pain can be sharp or dull, burning or aching. It can affect any part of the body. It can even outlast the injury or illness that started it. How? It’s generated in the nervous system, not the tissue; your brain still thinks your wellbeing is in jeopardy. How long does chronic pain last? Some experts say 12 weeks. Others say six months. Those enduring it might say it lasts forever.
