Michelle Lewis

Michelle is originally from Boston, MA and now lives in Williamsville, NY.  Michelle successfully completed a clinical rotation with Advanced Care Physical Therapy and really appreciated the “hands-on manual approach” delivered throughout each clinic. Following her graduation from Villa Maria College, she was eager to join the team.

“When I was a student, my clinical instructor really maximized my internship experience.  She consistently challenged me, helping me to further develop my clinical problem solving skills. The entire team contributed to my learning experience. Everyone was willing to help guide me to become the best clinician I could be. It was just a great experience from start to finish”

According to Michelle, patient care doesn’t just mean treating the symptoms; it means treating the entire person.  She selected the field of physical therapy because she appreciated the opportunity to work with the patient throughout the entire recovery process.

Prior to working with Advanced Care Physical Therapy she completed her BA in Marketing/Communications from SUNY Buffalo, and then received her AAS in PTA from Villa Maria College.  Michelle is eager to take advantage of the many continuing education opportunities offered through Advanced Care, and apply what she learns in the clinical setting to become an outstanding clinician. She also wants to learn all aspects of healthcare delivery and go on to earn  her CSCS so she can specialize in improving athletic performance, along with injury prevention.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys being around family and friends. In addition, she embraces staying active and living a healthy lifestyle.
