In 1993, Julie received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York. Julie worked in Miami, Florida for several years before returning to the Buffalo area. In 1998, Julie and her husband Craig started Advanced Care Physical Therapy. Julie is a Schroth C2 BSPTS Scoliosis Physical Therapist specializing in the Schroth Method. Julie is also certified in the SEAS approach through ISICO (Italian Scientific Spine Institute).
In addition to being passionate about working with adolescents and adults, who have Scoliosis, she continues to work with outpatient orthopedic clients.
"I want each patient to feel like my only patient. That means I am always totally focused on the patient I am treating. It's important to me to be considerate of your time, to earn your confidence and trust and to make a positive difference in your life."
In addition, Julie is a knowledgeable speaker on sports injury topics and strives to empower her patients to overcome pain and injury. She says,

Furthermore, at ACPT we are able to collaborate with leading professionals in our community. Kristy looks forward to continuing her collaboration with specialist Dr. Jeff Goldberg, as he transitions his practice into the DENT Tower.
At ACPT Kristy most enjoys working in an environment that encourages continued learning. She also enjoys participating in continuing education classes and mentoring PT and PTA students. Outside of work she looks forward to spending time with her family, spoiling her Yorkie Bowser, being outdoors and working out.
