Professional Service Offerings:
Functional Movement Screen – Put simply, the FMS is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns which are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical conditioning and distort body awareness. The FMS generates the Functional Movement Screen Score, which is used to target problems and track progress. This scoring system is directly linked to the most beneficial corrective exercises to restore mechanically sound movement patterns as well as tell us which exercise to avoid during the time you are trying to correct these patterns. We will monitor the FMS score to track progress and to identify those exercises that will be most effective to restore proper movement and build strength in each individual. FMS includes actual screen and a correction program will be developed for client.
Personal Wellness Coaching – Motivation is possibly one of the most important factors to success. Your Personal Coach will help you create a Vision Plan, create weekly goals to reach your Vision, help you identify obstacles in your way and help you develop a plan to overcome the obstacles. This process is key to not only your first 90 days of a program but critical to long lasting achievements. It is this relationship with your coach that will help create the plan and develop your skills.
Personal Strength Training – Individual and personalized thirty (30) minute sessions with one of our degreed professional trainers. Your personal trainer will provide expert feedback on form and quality of each repetition of each exercise. They will instruct you using a Tell, Show, Do approach. The goal is to optimize each rep of each set of each exercise to motivate and guide you.
Nutrition Evaluation & Counseling – Our nutritionist will first evaluate your current diet and eating habits. Then you will review your comprehensive report to highlight strengths and weaknesses in your current diet. Then we will work with you to create a program that is not only healthier but will address your taste, lifestyle and your goals.
Note: Individual and/or weekly counseling is to improve or make re-directions to the plan and/or address the obstacles you have faced in hitting your goals. Nutrition Coaching has proved to be critical in applying a healthy eating plan and sticking to it long term.
Group Personal Training Classes – Training with friends is more fun, period. Our Get Healthy Wellness Classes are scheduled, group formatted strength and metabolic training which are led by one of our degreed, professional trainers. These classes are similar to personal training and each repetition is important. Due to this the ratio of member to trainer is kept at 6:1 or lower. Consider it fun, group personal training.
Fitness Evaluation – These evaluations are indispensable to an outcome focused program. How do you know how you are doing or where you are heading if you don’t know where you were and where you are heading? These evaluations provide professional measurement and perspective to your hard work. If you are going to work hard don’t you want to know it is working? These evaluations are client specific but usually include a metabolic measurement to measure work capacity, body composition, body circumference, body mass indexing, blood pressure and other important measurements. Your evaluation would be customized to match your goals.
